Returns & Refunds
Changed your mind?
For most online purchases, you have a statutory right to cancel your order without giving a reason. You must notify us within 14 days, starting the day after you receive your goods. If your order arrives in separate deliveries, the period normally begins after the final item arrives.
Once you've notified us, you have a further 14 days to send your items back. You can also cancel your order before delivery.
These rights apply to eligible full-price items, sale items and Blind Boxes. We do not offer an additional voluntary change-of-mind returns period.
How to arrange a return
Email sales@somethingdifferentuk.co.uk with your name, order number or other proof of purchase, and details of the items you wish to return.
You do not need our approval to exercise your statutory cancellation rights. Please include your order details in your return parcel so we can identify your purchase.
Returns can be sent to:

Return postage
For unwanted items, you are normally responsible for the direct cost of returning your order. We recommend using a tracked delivery service and keeping proof of postage.
If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law. Please contact us so we can arrange an appropriate return method.
Condition of returned items
You may inspect goods as you reasonably would in a shop. Please return all supplied parts and accessories, together with any original packaging and labels you still have.
Where permitted by law, we may make a deduction from your refund if handling beyond what is necessary for inspection has reduced the item's value. Simply opening packaging does not automatically remove your cancellation rights.
Blind Boxes & collectables
Online Blind Box purchases are covered by applicable statutory cancellation rights, even if the box has been opened.
Blind Box contents are randomly selected, and duplicates are possible. Receiving a duplicate or a design you do not prefer does not, by itself, mean the product is faulty.
If unnecessary handling has reduced the item's value, including the value of collectable packaging, a lawful deduction may apply. We assess each return individually and do not automatically deduct money because a Blind Box has been opened.
Items excluded from change-of-mind cancellations
Certain legal exceptions apply, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, rapidly perishable goods, and certain sealed products genuinely unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once their seal has been broken.
Sale items, earrings and Blind Boxes are not automatically excluded from statutory cancellation rights. Exceptions do not affect your rights if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Refunds & delivery charges
If you cancel your entire eligible online order, we will refund the amount paid for the goods plus the original delivery charge, up to the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option available for your order. Optional express delivery upgrades are not refundable.
For partial returns, the original flat-rate delivery charge is not normally refunded if the same charge would have applied to the items you keep.
Refunds are made to your original payment method, less any lawful deduction. For returned goods, we will issue your refund without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your return or evidence that you have sent it, whichever happens first.
If your order is cancelled before dispatch, we will refund you without unnecessary delay and within 14 days of your cancellation notice. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the refund.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your purchase is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, your statutory consumer rights apply separately from the change-of-mind cancellation period. This normally includes a 30-day short-term right to reject qualifying faulty goods, with further rights to repair, replacement or other remedies where applicable.
Please contact us with details of the problem so we can help. Original packaging is not required to make a statutory faulty-goods claim.
Exchanges
We do not offer a separate change-of-mind exchange service. If you would prefer a different product, you can return your original purchase under any applicable cancellation rights and place a new order. This does not affect your right to a replacement for faulty goods.
