1. What is a Squishable?

A Squishable is a perfectly round, ultra-soft plush dreamed up at Squishy HQ in New York. Stuffed with marshmallow-light fluff, it bounces back after every hug and makes a brilliant pillow, comfort plush or spooky-cute display piece.

3. Do you stock Mini Squishables in the UK?

Yes – we stock a growing range of Mini Squishables in the UK, including popular picks like Pigeon, Midnight Mothman, Poodle Moth and Gargoyle. If you love quirky, collectible plush, minis are a great place to start.

4. How big are they?

  • Mini Squishables: approximately 7–9 inches
  • Classic / full-size Squishables: approximately 15 inches

That makes minis great for shelves, desks and gifting, while full-size styles are ideal sofa and bed buddies.

5. What are they made from, and are they safe?

Every Squishable uses brand-new 100% polyester fibres and is independently tested to exceed ASTM F963, CPSIA, Canadian and EU toy safety regulations. Minis and classics are suitable from birth, while 3-inch Micro keychains are suitable for ages 3+.

6. Where are they produced, and is it ethical?

Design happens in New York City, while manufacturing partners in China, Vietnam and Thailand hold ICTI Ethical Toy certification. Scheduled and surprise audits help keep working conditions safe and fair.

7. How did Squishable start?

Squishable was founded in 2007 by Aaron and Zoe, who famously said they knew nothing about toys when they started. Since then, the brand has released millions of plushies designed to make the world a little cuter and a lot squishier.

8. What is Project Open Squish?

Project Open Squish is a community design contest where fans submit plush ideas and vote on favourites. Many have gone on to become real Squishable designs, so some of the weirdest and most wonderful plushies began as fan concepts.

9. Does Squishable give back?

Yes – Squishable supports charitable causes through donations, holiday plush drives, artist sponsorships and prototype charity auctions.

10. How do I wash my Squishable?

  • Spot-clean first with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • For bigger messes, place the plush inside a cotton pillowcase, wash cold, then tumble dry on the lowest heat setting while still inside the pillowcase.
  • Repeat low-heat drying cycles until it feels light and fully dry.

11. How quickly will my order ship?

12. What are your UK delivery options?

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £3.99 to England, Scotland and Wales, usually 3–5 business days

13. What is your returns and exchange policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from receipt. Items must be unused, with tags and original packaging, and you will need proof of purchase. To start a return, email sales@somethingdifferentuk.co.uk before sending anything back.

14. Do you ship outside the UK?

15. Will sold-out designs come back?
